I mean even when they had no rings they were a well run organization with good-great coaching and a talented roster. Outside of a couple outliers the Eagles haven’t been a bottom of the barrel franchise, they just consistently ran into the issue of having a good but not great quarterback

And to me Jalen is the top of the second tier of quarterbacks because I feel he’s too limited as a passer to belong in the top tier. Him, Stafford, Jayden, and maybe Dak and Baker are all in that second tier right below Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, and Lamar. But of the guys in that second tier the only 2 who have a chance to break into the top tier are Jayden and Hurts

I think Herbert almost occupies his own spot as not on par with the big 4 elite guys, but still clearly above the tier 2 guys. Pretty similar the place Jayson Tatum occupies as clearly a step below the big 4 of the NBA with Jokic, Giannis, SGA, and Luka, but also still clearly ahead of the rest of the league
