He wants him to be suspended for it too I guess. Typical cowboys move

I think he’s gonna get more though considering the point of emphasis the NFL has put on sportsmanship

But Carter wasn’t the instigator here

Had dak not spit id agree, but dak clearly started it. Their whole “respect for other players” consideration wouldn’t apply, because dak already broke it. That doesn’t excuse carter, but it does help his suspension case

Do you think the NFL gives a single fuck? Especially if they can keep that dude out for the Super Bowl rematch

Dak spit on the ground, and Carter spit on him. Whether or not he started it Carter did the worse thing? It would be like the dude who swung getting suspended even if the other guy started the fight by talking

You’re clearly not understanding what I’m saying. The basis for suspension relies on the mutual respect for another player. Had Carter been the one to break it, yes, he’d easily be suspended. Dak spitting on the ground at Carter and starting back at him was clearly taunting, and based on the smith call later in the game, would probably have been called

Dak wasn’t spitting at Carter he was just spitting (if you disagree that’s fair but the nfl can’t prove you right) but Carter literally spit on him. That shit when straight into his jersey

Had it been called, the escalation wouldn’t have happened. Therefore, dak clearly taunted a retaliation out of Carter. Does that excuse him from ejection? Fuck no. But, again, Dak was the one to break the mutual respect.

Right, he just spit directly between his players while looking at Carter and smirked about it… 🙄

I’m with you, I’m just not sure he’s getting the benefit of the doubt from the league because Carter, fair or not, has a little bit of a reputation

And if Carter gets suspended for any length of time the Eagles defense is completely and utterly fucked

Not fucked, but pitifully mid

The only thing that saved them from looking worse in this game is CeeDee’s drops and Sanders’ fumble. A competent offense hangs 35 on this defense
