I’ll give the Chiefs a pass, they’re led by openly gay player Pat Mahomes

if you think people being allowed to exist is a political issue you need to do some introspection

I mean in this context it is political. The other teams aren’t doing it just to do it. They are using it as a political bargaining chip. I highly doubt 99% of their fan bases care or not someone is fucking a dude or a woman

Yeah I’m just in it for the game. I don’t really care what anyone else does behind closed doors

a large chunk of their fanbase does care, that's why the blatant homophobia here and throughout nfl communities is so common. saying it's a 'political bargaining chip' is such a nothing statement just used to invalidate teams supporting a social movement.

asking for don't say gay and not seeing the problem doesn't make you the neutral king you think you are

Didn’t say I was asking for any of that. I’m saying that this is a sports event. Just let football be about football. Nothing more

Would you have an issue with a Black History Month post? Would that be “political?”

I don’t even see how that is remotely similar the athletes who make up the league are literally 70% black and at one point the league was segregated. So them acknowledging black history and the triumph of black revolutionaries who made it possible for black to joint the NFL is a good thing? What does that have to do with pride month? How many gay athletes make up the NFL? Don’t compare BHM to pride month again you goofy.

It’s was literally required by the NFL and got the more money. It is now mostly a ploy to get LGBT individuals into sports. Your argument is nothing because no company cares past what will make me money. Should they act like gay people don’t exist hell no but this isn’t because they truly care and this has always been to get idiots to feel like they care

Go look at the comments on teams who did post. A lot of the comments apparently do care if a dude likes to fuck dudes

Bigots who lose it over Pride month are the reason we have Pride month. And pointing out that there are no out players doesn’t help your argument. It hurts it. There are approximately 1,696 athletes signed with an NFL team at any given time. Zero of them are out as gay or bi. Do you think that the NFL is such a statistical anomaly that there are NO players who aren’t straight when, statistically, there should be over a hundred?

The NFL has literally always been political dude 😂 we’ve had “End Racism” messages plastered on end zones and the backs of player’s helmets for years, don’t forget Washington renaming itself too

This has nothing to do with people being allowed to exist/ do what they want. There is just simply no reason that a sports team should be obligated to acknowledge pride month. End of story😂

tf? no, I just don't care much to entertain bigotry, or it's justifications. people can downvote my comment all they want, homophobia is still clearly rampant within nfl spaces, and immediately claiming that supporting people being allowed to exist is political says more about someone as a person than anything.
