If you disagree keep it respectful. Just something basic to talk about before games start.

I think Fields showed in Pittsburgh that he can succeed in the right environment. That won’t be New York tho

Whats the thought process of Mccarthy having higher upside then Dart? Id swap that

Mahomes is just not in a tier by himself anymore lmao, Allen and Burrow just as good if not better. Also JD5 underrated

Putting hurts alone in a tier is weird

I agree with all of this but I think jayden daniels will bump up a tier pretty soon

JJ is a far better more complete QB and it’s why a lot of people wanted him to return for an extra year to have an offense revolve around him. Dart still can’t read a defense and is oblivious to pressure (good and bad). JJ’s biggest issue is that he struggles with outside throws but that is far more teachable than reading a defense etc.

I stated above that I want to see JD have another good/great year before moving him up. We say this every year about the Chiefs and Mahomes and then they figure things out by midseason.

I would push back on that. Reading a defense is way more of a thing you can learn then not having the arm strength to throw to the outside. You either can do that or you cant

JJ has more than enough arm to throw outside, it’s more of him have inconsistent touch on his outside passes.

I think if TLaw plays good this year he’ll join him until he proves he can play well despite play calling.

Trust me, no he did not. I wanted him to succeed and develop bc then Pittsburgh would finally have a future at QB, but he was not good and still had most of the flaws he had coming out of college. The only way I can see Fields being a legitimate starter in the league is if he switches positions or goes to a team with an established starter & a great coach and sits to develop. Also known as the Geno Smith route.

Yeah I think so too, I explained above that I want to see another good/great year out of him before bumping him up.

If you watched him you’d know he’s good and he’s shown that over 3 years.

Fields played well and I hope it’s not just a 1 game thing but it’s also one game, gotta see if he can play like that consistently. It was very nice tho to see what looked like a more developed Fields out there, he wanted to throw over the middle of the field, didn’t bail immediately after his 1st read not being there and seemed more confident in his decision making.
