I know that he’s not a QB and what “most valuable” means is very subjective, but purely based on overall quality, Myles Garrett is the best player in the league rn and he really should be in mvp convos

This is not discrediting Garrett , he is an absolute monster of a player and the best defender in the league, but if you were to take him off of the browns, they would go from 4 wins to 2 wins. The browns offense is not good and forces the defense to be out on the field longer. So even if Garrett has a crazy game, he wouldn’t be able to make up for the lack of offense, this diminishing his value. Beat example is the game against the Patriots. He had 5 sacks and he still got blown out

Until the offense is able to at least hold their own, Myles Garrett’s value will only plateau

On top of that even when TJ tied the record and the Steelers had a winning record he wasn’t even considered for MVP
