Training camp usually opens like late July though doesn’t it, for most teams? July 25th or around that date? The Olympics go from July 14th to the 30th so they’d only miss a few days of training camp, not the entire thing

Camp starts the 16th actually. Sure they wouldn’t miss the entire thing but they’d miss 2 weeks. I’m sure some of the more complacent guys will go out but I genuinely don’t think that any top 4 players at any position will. Except for maybe wide receivers this seems like something ceedee lamb would do, and maybe Jamarr Chase and Justin Jefferson if they were both there

But like ain’t no way in hell Jalen hurts, Mahomes, Lamar, are gonna show up, which is kinda funny considering hurts is the official nfl flag football ambassador. They might force him to do it. Either way it’s like 3 years from now the entire landscape of the nfl will be wildly different from what it is now

Training camp may start the 16th for the two teams playing in the hall of fame game, but the rest of the league starts training camp anywhere from the 23rd 24th (earliest last year was the 17th for the Texans, and 19th for the bears but that’s because they were the two teams in the HOF game).
