There’s something called “consistency” which is why Fred Warner has been the best linebacker in the league since 2019 and is still better than Baun. 4x team all pro and he’s 28. If Baun has three or four more seasons like his first or even better with more consistency, and doesn’t become an injury prone guy, then yeah he could easily end up as much of a legend as Fred Warner

Look man I think Baun is the most underrated linebacker in football, and he had a hell of a season last year, but it’s still too soon to say that he’s better than Fred. He never truly had a chance to show his talent with the Saints and he comes the Eagles and shines which is a hell of a story. But like #1 said, if he consistently has seasons like last year, he can definitely end up better than Fred without a doubt

Sure Warner’s had a better career but that doesn’t really affect the player he is rn. Aaron Rodgers has had a better career than anyone in the nfl except Mahomes, would you say he’s the second best quarterback in the league?

Like Warner has literally NEVER had a single season as good as baun’s 2024 season. Baun has higher career highs in literally every single stat other than interceptions, defensive touchdowns.
