You say this as if the Colts didn’t choose to draft him lmao. He didn’t stay at Florida because he had the chance to be a top 4 pick in the draft and make generational wealth for his family. If he went back to college he could’ve gotten hurt or had his stock drop, especially given that the 2024 QB class was much stronger than the 2023 class
You do realize colleges don’t really develop QBs that much? They develop them a little but not a lot and that’s why they run much simpler offenses that rely on tons of RPOs and quick reads. It’s why QBs who play in pro style offenses will sometimes get a boost in draft stock over a QB who plays in an offense like Tennessee’s or Texas Tech etc.
