The fact that people are surprised that a rich Mormon dude is a Trump supporter is insane. Athletes should generally keep their politics to themselves as they’re not pundits, but this is hardly a surprise or a betrayal

Never felt betrayed or surprised, I just wanna shit on him for willingly associating with a pedophile.

Nobody is suprised, they’re just reminded again how much he deserves to be shit on

Also, I don’t understand the pathological need some people seem to have when it comes to celebrities agreeing with them politically. It’s a waste of time, especially when most publicly stated opinions are all about optics

Again, the rich, old Jewish guy supporting the most pro Israel president of all time isn’t exactly newsworthy nor is it his most significant crime (he solicited prostitutes)

Eh, his bigger crime is being a New York Giant. He’s 23 and has more money than most people will see in a lifetime, poor judgement comes with the territory

Abdul’s a Giant who obviously has more common sense, you’d think it’d be pretty obvious to not support (especially in public) an objectively evil man

The list of people who do that gets longer the closer you look at the ultra wealthy. This isn’t something I’d be looking for from the quarterback of my team or any of my teammates but it seems silly to be casting more stones at him than at the people who are the source of your outrage

I think it’s more so to do with the fact that he’s associating with a convicted felon who is a known racist, rapist, and pedophile. It’s not about politics in the slightest, it’s literally showing everyone you have no morals or ethics

Only one of those statements is concretely proven, and to the people that like him the other three are lies and the felony was a witch hunt. It’s a cut dry morality thing to you but people fundamentally do not view events the same way and that split is along political lines making this a political issue

Arguing morality and ethics with people who don’t have the same basic understanding of the world around you as you do is a waste of time for everyone involved

They get that power and wealth by the people who support them and hold them up, so fuck them too.

If you’re looking to support someone who isn’t objectively evil politics isn’t the avenue to do it. It’s a dirty, dirty business full of perverts, liars, cheats, thieves, snake oil salesmen, sadists, sociopaths etc

You’re out of your mind if you think the levers of power in DC are at all influenced by Joe Shmo voting for Trump in Iowa or even a famous guy like Dart publicly supporting him. Decisions are bought and paid for without one vote being cast, look at what just happened to Massie. He toed the line, kinda, and next thing you know he’s losing the most expensive congressional primary of all time to a man nobody heard of until he entered the race

I mean they’re all at the same parties selling our future for pennies on the dollar before getting caught in a pedo honeypot by shady individuals who want to have the political class by the balls. You throw a rock in Congress you’ll hit about 6 sex offenders

That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t still hold people who support the pedophile child rapist warmonger accountable for supporting a pedophile child rapist baby eater. They should all have PLENTY of stones cast at em
