We had 2 rap shows, and they were the only halftime shows ever to be rap centric. 58 was usher, 57 was Rihanna, 55 was The Weeknd, 54 was Shakira and jlo, 53 was the Maroon 5 dumpster fire, 52 was the very network friendly Justin Timberlake show, 51 was lady Gaga, 50 was Coldplay Beyoncé Bruno mars, 49 was Katy Perry, 48 was Bruno mars, 47 was Beyoncé, 46 was Madonna, 45 was the black eyed peas, 44 was the who, 43 was Bruce Springsteen, 42 was tom petty, 41 was prince, and 40 was Rolling Stones

So of the last 20 halftime shows, only 2 were rap. I don’t know how you could possibly have the idea that we’ve “only had rap for years now”

So you want country music? Cus that’s the only new direction I can think of and the last time they did that in the 80s or 90s I think it was terrible. The Kendrick show was incredibly different for the record

Rock, country, indie, electro. You can mix and match artists. No it wasn’t lol. It felt almost exactly the same as all the other ones.

I liked Kendrick more than the other ones. But I don’t really listen to rap, so that’s a big reason why I’m not liking it a lot. It all sounds the same
