Saints and Colts competing for number 1 again. Where have I seen this?

I pray for whichever QB has to go to one of those shitty situations.

It’s a shame they’re competing for king of shit mountain this year instead of next year because those two franchises would love arch more than most others

Colts aren’t all that bad of a situation tbh, they don’t have like a bottom tier OLine/receiving corps/run game. Saints on the other hand… yeah good luck

True but the Colts don’t know how to correctly build a team around a QB nor develop them.

I do believe Steichen could do a good job developing a QB tbh (he probably played a big part in Hurts becoming a solid NFL QB), AR is just ass

Steichen hasn’t done a good job developing AR and Steichen didn’t develop Hurts, he designed an offense that played to Hurts strengths the best and barely shown his weaknesses, if he developed Hurts then Hurts would’ve never had a down year and then another year that’s good but nowhere near the year he had with Steichen. Back to AR, even tho Steichen is a newer HC he still has say in how the team is run. Inconsistently benching your developmental QB “to win games” is asinine especially since AR

Gave them a better chance to win those games with how mediocre Flacco was playing let alone the run game completely going to crap once Flacco was at QB. Also who immediately tries to win when they just drafted a project QB, that makes no sense. On top of that the Colts failed to surround AR with a reliable receiver room as they struggled with drops, even the most consistent good WR in Alec Pierce struggled with drops at times. Yes AR has had his struggles but the Colts have not done a good job

At developing him, I like Steichen as a play caller but so far as a head coach he has not been good.
