Sorry if I read it incorrectly, I am an eagles fan after all, but the poll does say way too early NFC champion prediction, right? A loss in the bowl to the chiefs would still have us as nfc champions

Super Bowl loss better than not making the Super Bowl. Anyways that fuckass punter and James shatberry aren’t on the team anymore, and our current dc won’t be too distracted by head coaching interviews to prep for the game and fail to make adjustments. We got burned by the same damn play like 15 times in 57, we did more to lose that game than the chiefs did to win it if that makes sense

Sure. But the eagles defense isn’t nearly as talented as it was 2 years ago, nor even 4 years ago when they lead the league in sacks. Plus it seems like a foregone conclusion that AJ Brown will be traded post June 1

Diana russini only wants you to think it’s a foregone conclusion because she’s havin an affair with Mike vrabel. The defense is definitely as talented as it was 2 and 4 years ago though what you on about. Safety group could use some work but the cb room is miles better as is the interior dline and linebacker core. Edges could use some work but we generate so much pressure up the middle from the dtackles and the secondary is such clamps that it hardly matters. Just need to draft another safety

Like I genuinely don’t think that you actually believe riq woolen year 3 cooper dejean and year 3 Quinyon Mitchell is a less talented group than the 2024 or 2022 cb rooms. And baun and Campbell is definitely a better mlb duo than Baun and Oren burks, who started through the playoffs after Dean got injured in 2024

Saying edge doesn’t matter after last year is pretty funny: edge is a glaring hole on that team. As is Safety. Not to mention 2/5, perhaps 3/5 of the OL needing to be replaced soon (with Lane and Dickerson both retiring likely after this year)

“After this year” once again talking bout stuff that doesn’t affect the upcoming season, which is what we’re talking about. We just need to draft emw out of Toledo at 23 and stay healthy at edge, maybe make a trade too. Jalyx hunt is due for a breakout, and Nolan smith had 4 and a half sacks in 3 games during the sb run, he just needs to get fully healthy, he was playing injured most of last year

Plus like I said we got Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter inside, and Carter should be a LOT better this year if he doesn’t get injured again, which should be easier after playing such a short season. If we get him back in 2024 form or even better, we easily have the best interior dline in the league
