Honestly? Probably not 5 in a row. Especially if the ravens still had harbaugh. Chiefs have had a better oline (other than in 2024) and the defenses have been relatively the same the past 3 years with the ravens defense being significantly worse last year. Chiefs easily have had better offensive weapons until the addition of Derrick Henry. Lamar was throwing to geriatric desean Jackson one year

The ravens are known for their run game and their d, you don’t think mahomes would significantly better their passing game even with 0 weapons? Except for the fact that he was their oline was never really above average and their RBs were also mediocre lmao. Like their run game without Lamar was really never much better than the chiefs with Pacheco/hunt

They were never above average? They’ve been very good. Not top tier but very good. And yeah, their running backs have been mediocre in the past, which makes them being a top rushing team every year weird. Not weird, but obviously if that team didn’t have Lamar the run game is gonna be weaker. His running threat is a huge part of it

I wouldn’t say it’s severely diminished. I’d say it would be a little, but mahomes pass game is better than Lamar’s by a good margin so everything would be shifted towards the pass game instead of the run game
