Super Bowl 52 absolutely should’ve been the Patriots. Butler benched, Edelman and Cooks injured, Eric Rowe as the top corner, Hightower injured, Brady goes for 500 yards and they lose. This game should not be a blemish on Tom Brady’s legacy

You don’t get to exclude when Brady got unlucky if you’re going to include all of the times he got lucky. If you’re bringing up this, why don’t we bring up the Seahawks and Falcons having the 2 biggest chokes in football history? How about Brady throwing 2 picks against the Chiefs in 2018 and having what would’ve been the 3rd and game losing pick if Dee Ford wasn’t offsides? How about getting to play a Chiefs practice squad O-Line where the pass rush literally never gave Mahomes a chance?

We didn’t deserve to win that Super Bowl. Maybe Brady individually deserved to win sure I guess you could maybe say that. But the team as a whole hell no, that was one of the worst defensive showings I’ve ever seen from the Brady era pats

I mean shit, Brady is the GOAT, but he’s also pretty easily the luckiest athlete in American sports history. Taking out one of the single instances where his devil magic didn’t work and including all of the bullshit that went his way is fucking stupid.

I do agree with what ur saying but I never said he wasn’t lucky? He’s been bailed out more times than I can count, just like the eagles were in 52. Cheap shotting Brandin Cooks? OPI on Jeffrey’s touchdown?

Wow, angry already. The point is that you don’t get to remove the times Brady got unlucky on his resume if you’re going to include the times he got lucky. If you don’t hold the Eagles loss against Brady, then you shouldn’t hold the Seahawks win in his favor.

Actually I will hold it in his favor, 10 point comeback and 4 touchdowns against one of the best defenses of this generation

And he’s also gotten lucky countless times.

Brady, Gronk, Amendola and James White did well. Offensive line did their job for most of the game, Harmon, Gillmore and McCourty all pulled their weight on defense. Not much else
