She’s literally just existing at NFL games and is on screen for an average of 47 seconds per game in the games she attends spread out across a 3+ hour broadcast. Any grown adult man genuinely upset about it should be laughed at. She also doesn’t ask for the cameras to be pointed at her.

Now I don’t have a problem with Taylor Swift being like involved in the nfl community and whatever, but like I don’t know a single male sports fan that listens to New Heights anymore, maybe I’m in the minority here though 🤷🏻‍♂️

True, but at the end of the day, how much she shows up on TV is up to the producer, not her. The stories is written about her attending the games are not made by her. So honestly, I respect the way she can make fun of herself and the narrative surrounding her attending football games

What’s more embarrassing? Rabid fans who will defend a celebrity unconditionally, or grown ass men crying their eyes out because a pop singer is on screen for less than a minute over a 3+ hour broadcast? The answer is both, but at least a lot of the Swift fans are kids and teenagers, while the football fans are adults with jobs losing their minds over nothing.

the people aren’t upset at her, but at the sports broadcasting companies that make the sporting event about someone completely unrelated to generate revenue from new audiences (swift fans).

I’m a functional adult, so I really never gave a fuck about seeing a pop singer in the stands for a few seconds at a time during a football game. Know what was annoying? Listening to my uncle throw a bitch fit and start ranting about how the sport was being ruined every time she was on screen.

When I don’t care about something, I scroll past it. It clearly bothers them, and it’s so funny to be THIS bothered by something so harmless. It’s a pop singer the NFL shows on the broadcast becuase it makes teenage girls watch the games. It’s not that serious.
