Rams are probably going to rest their starters next week so Maye has one last chance to statpad and get closer to Staffords stats

Goodell needed the race to be a little closer, Maye’s stats are puny compared to his

No? Literally only TDs. EPA is literally 1.5x Stafford’s. CMP% is 6 percent higher (a lot) and Y/A is like almost a whole yard better.

Ofc he’s also comfortably ahead in RTG and QBR

hmm yes according to X advanced metric Drake Maye was significantly better at throwing checkdowns against the saints, jets 2x, dolphins, raiders, panthers, titans, bucs, and bengals! He absolutely deserves it! -a fucking idiot

You just said the word “checkdown” when Maye leads in yards per attempt by a considerable margin. You’re in no position to be calling anyone else an idiot.

Stafford has: More dominant wins Leads league in passing yards 12 more touchdowns even after Maye’s stat padding game also with efficiency stats, passer rating and more still being way above average against SIGNIFICANTLY harder opponents, there’s no contest here man

-opinion that’s almost certainly wrong (pats destroy teams) -no, Dak -true, except Maye wasn’t stat padding, just playing perfect offense -stafford’s passer rating is worse and he worse efficiency stats. -harder teams, but much easier defenses. Try sticking to the truth and your arguments would be better -

my point is these stats are completely meaningless, why does it matter that Maye has one more Y/A when he has 12 less TDs? or completion percentage when he’s played some of the leagues worst defenses? or yards per attempt when he can’t even score as much as stafford? Stafford has very clearly been the better player this year and it’s genuine bias if you don’t agree

-better defenses like the raiders, jets, dolphins, bills, titans, bengals, bucs, panthers???? give me a break buddy -pats destroy bottom feeders, rams beat real contenders -i just said they are still impressive and above average, thanks for reading! -is clearly biased -going for it on 4th down up 28 points on the jets is apparently not stat padding -“well Maye deserves to win because advanced ratings said so!!!”

Brother you can’t accuse me of bias and turning a blind eye when you act like basic stats are too advanced to be considered

In this argument you: Don’t acknowledge SoS or turnovers once, think Maye deserves to win over Stafford despite having 12 less TDs because his Y/A and completion percentage is higher 💀, think Maye played better defenses somehow, and calls going for it on 4th down against the jets up 28 “perfect offense.” I’m the biased one here though lmao
