I mean obviously nfl players have a history of getting off for things. but two of the others arrested pled guilty and are set to testity. one of them got four years and terrion's accused of being the main organizer of the whole thing. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets off relatively easy but at first glance it does kinda look worse than a lot of other player situations imo

James Pearce Jr. literally hit a police officer with a car and is now looking at having all his charges dropped. Can’t be suprised at anything anymore

yeah it's ridiculous. i'm uncomfortable with it and it directly helps my team

I mean that charge specifically was dropped because it was kinda bs. pearce handled that entire situation like an idiot, but the cop also slammed his palm onto pearce's car as he was driving away and then immediately said "he hit me with his car". you can see that's the case on his bodycam

they also cited that no one in pearce's situation got hurt and cited mental health, I'm guessing that sorta defense is harder to do for a guy who allegedly led plots to kidnap and assault people. ofc nfl players get off easier than most, I've already stated that here, but to just go "nuh uh" without looking at the situation and how it might be different from others is so pointless.
