The cap space that a trade would need is mostly the reason teams don’t trade for big contracts. But no, unless there is a no trade clause, the contract itself is never an issue. Just comes down to cap space for the opposing team, whether there is a no trade clause, the value being exchanged in the trade, and the teams agreeing, and in some situations whether or not the player is fine with it in times teams give players some decision on whether they want that trade in good faith for their time.
