No you won’t, because rushing Mahomes back would be stupid

We won’t. I’m not super worried about the line. We just had a bunch of injuries and a stud rookie lt that just needs more development. I’m concerned about right tackle but we have serviceable guys for that. I do agree there’s stuff we need to fix this offseason like our oc and some of our position coaches, but I think we’ll be fine. We’ll find a good. Backup qb to help keep us afloat until mahomes is ready to go

Your d line is also struggling

Chris Jones doesn’t look the same and you guys can’t generate any pass rush without blitzing

That’s the thing I’m most concerned about. I think we’re gonna take a d line guy with our top pick. I’m scared that we might trade mcduffie, but we’re low on picks too and we’re good at developing corners.

If I were you guys I’d seriously consider taking Love, because as much as you need help on the d line you need more help in the backfield

But then again if Bailey or Bain falls to you that’s where I’d probably go

I think it’s a possibility that they go the love route, but I highly doubt it. They got burned by taking ceh in the first round a few years ago and they just don’t value rbs that much

But they should, they can’t run the ball at all

Oh it doesn’t matter what we think they should do. I agree, they should care about running the ball more, but Andy Reid just doesn’t care and he doesn’t do it. We drafted a rb last year and he used Pacheco over him.

You drafted that gimmicky SMU WR turned running back, they need a legit running back. Maybe not to the caliber of Love but someone in the middle rounds who can be a pro bowl caliber back to take some of the pressure off Mahomes

No yeah you’re right, but they didn’t even try to run him. They just used him for stuff that we drafted worthy for. Defenses knew exactly what was coming whenever he was on the field. We just have a bunch of the same in our receiving corps. I think they’re gonna do that tho, at least draft a rb in the first few rounds. I would love love tho.

The cap hit of Mahomes and Jones is brutal.

That’s something else, your only red zone threat in the pass game is geriatric Travis Kelce and you just need someone to score in tight. Of course the easiest way to score in the red zone is with the run game but you need someone to throw to

Yeah, might be time to move off Jones

It’s not time to move off jones. He’s still good. I don’t know why we gave karlaftis the contract we gave him, idk why we gave Bolton the contract we gave him, and veach has just been making a lot of questionable decisions. I’m not worried about mahomes’ contract cause they restructure it all the time. I’m just worried about how Veach is gonna do this offseason. This is prolly the most important offseason we’ve ever had

Somewhere I read Mahomes’ hit was $65 million this year but that was wrong. It’s $28 million which sounds like a non-issue. Although the Chiefs are $65 mil over the cap next year so not much room to rebuild.
