acceptable that a misunderstanding on the level of repeated, seemingly purposeful call declining is the only reason I can think of to have fucked up like that. like if there’s a lot of pauses between calls and it seems like he is ignoring you on purpose at that point, I guess?? still kinda dumb imo but much better than what seemed like no reason at first
