He hired Mike McDaniels, and his drafts have been middling at best since he became GM in 2016. He gave Tua an outrageous extension for no reason, and his only good move was Tyreek Hill. He hasn’t done anything to put together an actual team AROUND Tyreek Hill since acquired.

I disagree i think his drafts, have been good, now granted he aint no howie roseman, was he the answer for the dolphins? No most likely not, but i dont think he deserved to be first canned over mcdaniels

It’s a lot easier to can a GM mid-season than a Head Coach. A Head Coach has a lot more hands in the day-to-day operations of the team and you can’t go through the coach hiring process mid-season. A GMs duties can be handled by other team staff, but an interim coach is a death sentence for any rookie development/general playoff hopes. Their hopes are already dead, sure, but they’re giving him til the end of the season.

Ok i agree with that most definitely, i think its a really bad sign if a team has to fire their coach mid season like the titans just did, so in this case what they shouldve done was just wait until the end of the season, fire mike mcdaniels first
