As a Philly fan, I really don’t give a fuck where he’s ranked on a bunch of subjective lists 💀💀 Like what matters to us is that the Eagles win games and that when it’s time for other teams to beat Jalen Hurts, Jalen Hurts beats them. We wouldn’t trade our Super Bowl MVP Quarterback for anything. Anyone who’s super hell-bent is just being ridiculous bc what a few people on Yik Yak say isn’t the gospel, these lists are literally opinions, not insults 😂😂

I honestly don’t know, most fan bases that are delusional about their team/player usually come back down to reality when they’re proven wrong but the Eagles fanbase just continues to say the most asinine things. For example over the summer they tried to say that Cam Newton was extremely overrated and in his prime he was never better than Hurts.

Like am I gonna say he’s top 10? Of course, that’s my own bias, why wouldn’t I say that? Nonetheless, all I care about is the damn Philadelphia Eagles winning games and getting Lombardi trophies. You ain’t need to have the best individuals everywhere, you just need the best collection of people to work together to win.

I’m glad that some people like you exist in that fanbase bc that’s how it should be, I don’t agree where you’d rank him but like you said you don’t take rankings to heart, which is what everyone should do. Prime Cam was electric and only ended up losing in the Super Bowl to a historically solid Broncos defense. I know Jalen Hurts ain’t give a fuck that he’s ranked 19th in the top 100 players in the NFL, that’s still super impressive. However, people really gotta stop saying the most ridiculous shit, like Hurts is not the passer that Josh Allen is, for instance. If anything, the Bills defense needs to stop choking against the Chiefs, but that’s a different conversation.

Exactly, Hurts has flaws but it honestly doesn’t matter most of the time when the play calling is good/great. If the Steelers were like the Eagles and Will Howard turned into a QB like Hurts but the Steelers were rolling, I wouldn’t care that Howard isn’t the best QB bc we’re winning regardless of where you want to rank him.

It really is just a Pennsylvania thing, having a good defense and building from the D and O lines are what made the Steelers and make the Eagles now so successful. The ‘08 Steelers didn’t even have that good an O-line, but proved that when you invest in your defense, you will go far in this league.
