I hate being a bears fan. Especially when discussing the Hail Mary Jayden threw against us. It doesn’t matter how right I am or how unbiased I am I just get told the bears still suck or they insult Caleb Williams like it affects me.

Hail Mary’s are almost 100% luck, a quarterback does not beat another quarterback they beat the defenses. Sure they can put up more points than the other quarterback but that’s completely up to the defenses abilities.

100% a Hail Mary is a receiver highlight more than it’s a qb highlight. Also idk why people like to attack Caleb as much as they do. He didn’t do anything to warrant it but they act like hating on him affects US personally which I don’t get but it’s funny

Eh I hate to say it, but Jayden earned that Hail Mary. Saved insane amounts of time being mobile, has the arm strength, and one of YALL guys was busy celebrating instead of winning the gane

And yes I am aware the bears suck they’ve sucked my whole life this isn’t new to me. However my stance on this stays the same no matter the team no matter the situation.

Saying yall like I had anything to do with it. He celebrated but then was in a position by the time the ball was thrown. He was in the wrong spot and did a stupid thing but he was still there. Also yes Jayden ran around and avoided sacks, but that’s completely doesn’t mean anything. Also there were like 3 different terrible holds on that play that went uncalled (there’s holds on every play but when it directly affects the play to the degree some did it’s bad)

But even then avoiding sacks doesn’t mean he deserved it he just chucked the ball up. Hail Marys are more impressive for the receivers than the quarterback. The quarterback just has to throw it deep the receivers have to do so much more work

I meant the team OBVIOUSLY. Eh being “there” isn’t an excuse for that, coulda been much more there and even prevented the throw from going where it did.

Sure but that can be said on almost any play ever. It was stupid for him to be celebrating to begin with but players do it all the time this one just ended horribly so he caught flack for it.
