pretty sure that would violate some policy when just benching him wouldn't mean anything besides announcing they think he needs more time

I think he’s “injured” but it’s not something severe enough to be sidelined for. The turnovers have something to do with the benching but it’s probably more so they can figure out what all is wrong with the offense. It’s clear that Darrisaw being out is impacting JJ a lot. However, it looks like the game is too fast for JJ and JJ still doesn’t seem to have bettered his ability to throw to the left (was a concern pre draft).
