I figured Stafford would be the odd man out because it’s hard to say if he ever had a “prime”. He’s always been that guy and since this is about each players peak and not who would you take to start a franchise with I see why people wouldn’t vote for him

Stafford definitely had a prime but it was wasted on the Lions, he used to be a bit more mobile and had a stronger arm (still has a strong arm).

Honestly, I’d prolly still take luck. He would’ve been fuckin dangerous with an actual offense.

I don’t disagree that he’d be elite with a competent team but Stafford balled out consistently despite the Lions being a poverty franchise. Yeah he had Megatron and occasionally some other decent pieces but never fully a good team and then on the back end of his career first year with a new team he goes and leads them to a SB win.
