they play in foxborough, about as close to providence as to boston. this means you can't take the metro there like every other team in a big city. even in atlanta, the main use for the metro is letting people park in decatur so they don't have to pay for parking at the stadium.

Also we have the commuter rail which has a Foxboro line into Boston (and they still advertise a PVD-foxboro for special events but I’ve never seen it run) which is nowhere as good as actual metro itself but it’s about what you can ask for a stadium 25 miles from both cities that’s trying to service both

Bill originally wanted to move the team to Hartford actually too back in the late 90s before he eventually settled on Gillette Stadium
