I have a hard time not predicting Carter to win DROY. Dex and Burns on the same line is going to ensure he’s getting 1on1 reps at all times, and there’s just absolutely no excuse for him not to lead his class in pressures and sacks. I’m high on Mykel too, but even if he is good, you’d have to be betting on Carter to underwhelm.

I like 4-3 defensive ends. I like Saleh’s schemes. I like a 1st round talent playing opposite Nick Bosa. I think he and Carter have similar sack totals but Williams plays better against the run simply because of scheme and he gets the award

Ngl when the pick was made I wasn’t thrilled about it, but overtime I started to realize the amount of potential he is going to have especially under Saleh. We definitely needed a true #2 to pair alongside Bosa. Hopefully he’s that guy
