There was no legit concepts of modern football until the 70s, pretty much anything before the 70s is not comparable in the slightest to modern day football.

The topic is all-time defense, bud. You can’t disregard anything that happened to 1970 on an all-time list, bud. If that’s the case, you might as well strip the packers of all their championships (apart from 96 and 2010), and you should take Johnny Unitas, Jim Brown, Otto Graham, and Chuck Bednarik out of the hall of fame

You’re trolling right? You absolutely can separate eras of a sport from each other when discussing them bc they were 2 completely different games. It’s a big reason why people don’t bring up older basketball players/teams in debates bc the games were so much different from today...it was literally a whole trend to dunk on the Jordan era for how weak it is compared to today’s game. The same can be said about a lot of sports.

Except they do. Football’s essentially the only major sport where people pretend like anything prior to 10 years ago is irrelevant. Baseball still thinks back about the old days (and older players), Basketball is still stuck in the 90s (or even earlier for some), and hockey hasn’t been great since Wayne Gretzky

When I say there was no modern concepts I mean they didn’t even run legit plays and schemes. It was go out there and run into each other with very little game planning. On top of that there was little to no rules and regulations…that is not comparable to modern day football. If you’re being serious please check into a hospital rn and get checked. I’m not even going to address the other bs you’re spewing.
