Tbf a packers fan our age hasn’t seen sny kind of real success from them other than those back to back Aaron Rodgers MVPs. Like assuming everyone in here is in college around 20-21, that’s like 5 years old the last time the packers won a Super Bowl in 2010. I can’t remember shit from when I was 5. It’s been nothing but heartbreak for them since, haven’t even made a sb. Also they just lost to the panthers

Packers have pretty much been the cowboys for the last 15 years, they just make it slightly farther but the end result is the same

Got to see a superbow in your lifetime, consistent playoff and superbow contention, a hof qb for most of your life, and the guy who comes in after Rodger’s is promising. I wouldn’t call that heartbreaking

If you got to see a Super Bowl but you can’t even remember it or weren’t capable of really understanding football when it happened did you really get to see one?

That’s better than most franchises have it man. I’d count yourself lucky to say you got one in your lifetime even if you can’t remember it very well to even get to say that is more than others can say themselves just some perspective

Eh I guess we view it differently. Like I’d especially say having Rodgers and watching him all those years get so close but never even get back would be more heartbreaking than say just being like, a cardinals fan or a fan of some other mid team

Yeah I guess we do. I’d rather be consistently good and get close then suck for my entire life. Like the bears who consistently disappoint me. I wish they had a fraction of the success the packers have had the last 20 yrs

I’ve been on both ends in different sports, since I’m in Philly and I had to go through like 10 years of the Phillies missing the playoffs and then the sixers being the cowboys of the nba and in that time frame before the random ass World Series appearance in 22 being a sixers fan had been so much harder, and the tank last year was some of the most fun I’ve had watching basketball, but it’s different strokes for different folks I guess
