So the team wins when the defense plays good? And loses when it plays bad? Incredible analysis

That’s the excuse for Josh Allen, right? His defense is always good to great, but it magically sucks in his losses

Hey bozo, maybe if you had a brain between your ears you’d understand that the argument falls flat. If Allen’s defense gives up 30 ppg in every playoff game, win or loss, then that means he’s having to carry his team thru each game, and with a crappy defense giving up 30, he’s gonna get fewer wins. The stat in the tweet is only talking about LOSSES that Allen and mahomes have had. If you look at ppg given up on average in ANY playoff game (win or lose) then u can compare each QB’s true support

Allen’s defense doesn’t give up 30 points in every playoff game. That exclusively happens against the chiefs (and broncos last year bc of Allen’s 5 turnovers). Saying Allen had no support is disingenuous. He just had to play Mahomes, arguably the greatest playoff QB ever. No shame in losing to him, but we don’t have to pretend the bills are the 32nd ranked defense every year either

Allen’s defense plays good. His losses are always bc of 2 reasons. A.) playoff Patrick Mahomes B.) Allen’s turnovers (loss to bengals in 2022, loss to Texans in 2019, loss to broncos in 2025)

Two things can be true at once: Allen has failed to live up to potential in his playoff career and his team has ket him down in the biggest moments multiple times, which is likely why their HC got fired

So if Allen likely fails to reach a Super Bowl in the next 5 years.. it’ll be the fault of who exactly? The coach? The GM? The other players?
