Lowkey if the Jaguars had a good QB they’d be contenders

They do. Lawrence unfortunately plays with a disease called Shane Waldron

No not really, TLaw isn’t bad btw. The Jags defense and OL isn’t anything special and even if all of what I said does not matter to you and you only take away one thing from what I’m saying, take away this SHANE WALDRON IS A TERRORIST. He’s their passing game coordinator and has absolutely done an awful job everywhere he’s went, everywhere he’s left the teams have magically been able to pass the ball again.

Just wanna put out there that TLaw’s stats are very similar to Daniel Jones

Too bad they drafted Trevor Lawrence instead of uh, man that class was kinda ass. Maybe Jamarr

The litmus test for ball knowing should be understanding context. We can name it the Waldron test bc he’s pretty good at ruining everyone involved with the passing game for the team he’s coaching,

Literally everywhere he goes he just ruins. I get Coen worked with him in the pass but he’s clearly having an effect on the offense in a bad way

Ok and Daniel Jones is elite now so that’s a compliment to T-Law

Idk how he still gets jobs, the JSN interview should have been clear that the dude sucks at his job.

There’s a reason why we don’t use stats as a main argument. Context and film tell the whole story where stats do not.

Haven’t watched any jags games so I probably shouldn’t talk but everything I’ve been seeing is that their defense is good this year?

Regardless, he was supposed to be generational and hes been everything but that.

They’ve played the Panthers, Bengals, Texans, and 49ers. Not the greatest teams to decide if their defense is good or not which it isn’t, don’t get me wrong they have pieces but that defense isn’t anything special.

That’s why context matters, he’s had 1 year of competent play calling from Pederson and that was it. Everyone was excited for this year bc of Coen but Waldron was also hired and has ruined the passing game. Kind of hard to be good when you constantly have shitty offensive minds working against you.

Ok and Sam Darnold has been playing for “years” and went from being a below average QB to a starting caliber QB. Same with Baker. Are they also still bad based on ur logic

Bro, Baker’s been playing good for a couple years now. Darnold is up in the air cause he had one good year. He’ll be up there if he proves he can do it again. Putting Jones in that category because he played well in 3/4 games this year is nuts. Its okay to admit Tlaw has been underwhelming. Maybe he will get better like Baker and possibly darnold did but right now hes not that good

I mean like the Jags weren’t prioritizing wide receiver for that draft. QB was always going to be the pick. It would’ve made 0 sense picking a receiver

Yeah I’m just thinking of like any player they could’ve picked that would’ve actually been good cus that qb class was so dogshit. First I thought of was jamarr. Micah would’ve been a decent pick pairing him with Hines Allen

Jags defense has averaged 3 takeaways a game this season. Even if the teams they’ve played have had pretty lackluster offenses, that’s still extremely impressive and is a massive improvement from what their defense was last season. Devin Lloyd is having an all pro caliber start to the season

Nah yeah I get exactly what u were saying lol. Looking back at the draft now you know which players ended up being the best in that draft. Just in the case of the Jags Lawrence was always going to be the correct pick
