literally just don't sign a record breaking extension with the franchise you said was dogshit and never gonna win anything. he could've left when his contract was up or told them he planned to so they traded him sooner, could've taken a pay cut so his team could actually build around him, but he chose greed and now he's seeing the results.

Or hear me out, he could have played out his current deal and THEN made a push to leave. He should have made it clear that he wouldn’t resign no matter how many times they tagged him and he would’ve been free eventually
