Cowboys have the biggest fanbase in the game. And have had the biggest fanbase since the ‘70s. The America’s Team thing is real.

Chiefs have built up a HUGE brand over the course of the Mahomes era. Mahomes and Kelce are legit superstars, even outside of football. The Taylor Swift thing helped their brand even more.

All that to say, this community is not that representative of the overall football community. Casual fans all across the world love the Cowboys and Chiefs. Casual fans will not be found on this community.

The Steelers were actually offered by the NFL to be considered America’s team first but Art Rooney refused. Also idk about the Cowboys being one of the most popular teams right now. I think the most popular teams in recent years have been the Chiefs, Bills, Eagles, Ravens, etc. I’m definitely looking forward to that Thanksgiving game tho. It’ll be a good one

The Cowboys are definitely popular, and they have a big fan base, but I don’t think they’re one of the most popular teams currently. The reason why the Cowboys are one of the most known teams worldwide is pretty much because of its Texas culture. And most foreign countries associate the USA with Texas more than any other state. Also even just the team name “Cowboy” is very American. So that’s why the brand is popular overseas

But if you’re someone in another country getting into the NFL, you’re most likely following the teams with recent success, not the Cowboys. That’s why they’re not the most popular right now. Also the Steelers have a huge following in Mexico and Ireland

Think of the Cowboys like Playboy. It’s one of the most recognizable brands in the entire world, but in reality Playboy is not one of the most popular magazines in this day and age
