Lol we don’t want that bum. Been waitin forever for this dude to break out and he’s been nothing but mid aside from his rookie year where he still honestly wasn’t that good. Send him to Dallas sure, we’ll still destroy them 🤣

Only way I’d want him is if Goedert leaves but he ain’t going anywhere and he’s better than Pitts too anyways

Top 5 but not 3, I’d take Kittle, LaPorta, McBride, and Hockenson over him

You can have them over but in reality he’s top 3 when healthy ts not a debate

Oh shit I forgot about Bowers. Goedert isn’t even top 5 anymore, he’s 6 at best

It doesn’t matter how good you are if you’re not on the field. But even when fully healthy he’s not better than Kittle, Bowers, or LaPorta. McBride and Hockenson are debatable

Hence y I said when healthy man I can’t argue with that

What makes him better, those other guys have better production

True

Better at catch point better blocker route running is debatable but production is the end all be all

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 16w

He’s not a better blocker than Kittle, he’s not better at the catch point than LaPorta, and Bowers runs better routes than any tight end I’ve ever seen

What does Laporta do better than Dallas

It’s pretty clear, Goedert is a good tight end but he’s at the top of the second tier of guys

upvote 1 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> OP 16w

He is to tight ends what Baker Mayfield is to quarterbacks, very good but not the greatest

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #2 16w

That’s glaze not factual shit lol you’ve never watched Dallas and it shows I’ve seen Dallas make catches ik laporta cant make him and kittle is neck and neck when it comes to blocking and I’ll give you bowers but Dallas not far

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #2 16w

You don’t watch all of football you picking and choosing if u seen atleast 2 Philly games were dg played you’ll see it for yo own eyes

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 16w

The only tight end I’ve ever seen who’s a comparable blocker to Kittle is Gronk. Goedert isn’t a liability as a blocker but he’s not exactly an elite blocker

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #2 16w

Wow he isn’t a liability but he’s isn’t exactly a elite blocker you really just said that this is how Ik you don’t watch Philly ball

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 16w

He’s a damn good tight end but Kittle is probably gonna be wearing a gold jacket at the end of his career and Goedert will be like Zach Ertz a phenomenal and well respected tight end but firmly entrenched behind the elite guys from his era (Kelce and Gronk)

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous 16w

Exactly, I’ve always thought tiers were a more accurate way to compare guys than a numbered rank and to me the top tier of tight ends right now include Kittle, Bowers, McBride, and Hockenson and the next tier down includes guys like Goedert, Mark Andrews, Isiah Likely, Cade Otton etc

Isn’t putting bro over kittle he’s the only one I’m not putting over dg

upvote 1 downvote

You don’t think Kittle is gonna be a Hall of Famer when he retires? Also watching highlights isn’t a good way to assess a player

Anonymous 16w

You acting kittle being super man out there dude u gotta b a niners fan😂

upvote 0 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 16w

He’s clearly the best all around tight end in football and it’s not close. Bowers is probably a better receiver but there’s a huge gulf between Kittle and every other tight end, including Goedert. The other guys are all fighting for second as far as I’m concerned

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #2 16w

Not highlight smart guy I said top plays real time drives of him Doing elite shit and ofc I do kittle is the best te in lg rn I can’t deny that but that 2 3 spot Dallas can for sure be there lol

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon

One full healthy season from dg would put all ts to bed it’s not bias you literally just uneducated when it comes dg and im educating you because ik you don’t watch him play

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 16w

He can’t until he proves he can stay healthy. Nobody makes it to the league without talent and the Eagles wouldn’t keep him around if he couldn’t play, they let Ertz walk because they liked Goedert, but that doesn’t mean he’s an elite tight end in any other context besides potential. His health and his production preclude him from being in the top 5

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #2 16w

Been saying that since you decided to reply to my comment lol haven’t gotta that fully healthy season from him so I don’t got a lot of room but I can go off past shit

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 16w

Let’s take Gronk as an example, he’s an undoubtedly all time great at the position but if he played his entire career fully healthy he’d hold every record a tight end could hold and he’d have them by a massive margin but because he didn’t do that because of his health there’s more of a debate about the GOAT tight end

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #2 16w

It’s only healthy not production that goes into health when he was healthy he overly produced when we was in the play offs last yr we went thru 3 games and he didn’t have 1 drop on 10+ rec that’s the shit they don’t show you tho because he can’t stay out long enough for it to get noticed but I will come back this post because this gone be the season

Nobody’s denying he’s good, he’s just not as good as you’re saying. We all like players on our team better than anyone on some other team but that doesn’t make the evaluation objective

Only reason u saying that dumb shit is because they can stay on the field that’s the sole reason you would even put them over bro it’s actual ball knowing lenses goofy I watch all aspects of the game with every team howany times u watched Philly ball
