Exactly, I’ve always thought tiers were a more accurate way to compare guys than a numbered rank and to me the top tier of tight ends right now include Kittle, Bowers, McBride, and Hockenson and the next tier down includes guys like Goedert, Mark Andrews, Isiah Likely, Cade Otton etc
He can’t until he proves he can stay healthy. Nobody makes it to the league without talent and the Eagles wouldn’t keep him around if he couldn’t play, they let Ertz walk because they liked Goedert, but that doesn’t mean he’s an elite tight end in any other context besides potential. His health and his production preclude him from being in the top 5
Let’s take Gronk as an example, he’s an undoubtedly all time great at the position but if he played his entire career fully healthy he’d hold every record a tight end could hold and he’d have them by a massive margin but because he didn’t do that because of his health there’s more of a debate about the GOAT tight end
It’s only healthy not production that goes into health when he was healthy he overly produced when we was in the play offs last yr we went thru 3 games and he didn’t have 1 drop on 10+ rec that’s the shit they don’t show you tho because he can’t stay out long enough for it to get noticed but I will come back this post because this gone be the season
