These coaches are not doctors. When it comes to medical knowledge, the only thing they know is what doctors are telling them. You can blame Sirianni for a lot of things, this is not one of them

If a doctor tells him that it’s a superficial clot with no contraindication to playing football, then he has no reason not to play him. In fact, it would arguably be stupid to ignore what the doctor says. Blame the physician all you want, but again, this is not a Sirianni problem
