They were the Super Bowl favorites after week 1 and 2 of last season. Everyone thought they’d be elite after they got Micah, but now that trade has completely blown up in their face

I wouldn’t really call that front runners for Super Bowl contention, that’s just week 1 & 2 bro doesn’t really mean anything to most people. Saints went 47-10 and 44-19 week 1 & 2 of 2024 with Derek Carr and looked unstoppable, they ended that season 5-12. Dolphins were Super Bowl favorites for a couple weeks in 2023
