love how if you’re a kicker the UFL/XFL is effectively the minor leagues. like every other position is basically you’re in or out but anything can happen for the humble kicker

NFL needs to buy the ufl to just make them the minor leagues. I’d 100% watch spring football if it’s like the Iowa Bears or something and they can get called up to my real team

agreed. rather than try to expand to the UK/Brazil/etc, they’d probably drum up way more attention giving smaller states a semi-professional team

Yeah I know the cubs send guys to Des Moines Iowa so that’s why I threw out the Iowa bears idea. Would I go to the games in person? Not often but it’d be fun and would give those cities something more to cheer on

yeah i feel like college supersedes pros for the community element, and it can be hard to really feel ingrained in a team’s culture if you aren’t in the main city. gb is cool for being effectively the only small town team, more of that could be fun for the people in these less populated spots
