Dave canales just came out and said he backed up our DC’s defensive decisions and that execution was the issue. We allowed over 250 rushing yards. Canales has done a lot for the panthers, but if neither are willing to change, at what point do we fire both

Panthers shit the bed on all sides of the ball, we had 3 brutal offensive turnovers and special teams couldn’t hold onto the ball either. I get the defense was likely gassed by half and I get that and cut them some slack, but how do we enter a game where the opposing qb has a broken hand and one of their best WRs is out, and not understand the run game needs to be stopped. I’m not shocked that we let some rushing yards through, but this is absurd.

To be fair he isn’t gonna publicly say that evero was the problem, we can only hope some conversations happen off screen and a change is made

It’s the same shit every week, and our offense can’t always compensate, this game as example. Something needs to change, and we’re not changing it quick enough

Yeah I agree with that, but if you do have an issue with the defensive calling don’t lie about it. I’ve heard HCs say playcalling was bad before, doesn’t mean they’re putting down their coordinators, it’s part of the job. If I do a bad job at work my boss isn’t gonna spare me the blame and blame the work for coming out bad to make me feel better. Dave Canales has always been very literal on his statements, as he’s never praised a decision and then acted otherwise so I have little hope
