Okay I will namedrop Drew Brees But I say that only because he played for the Saints for so long and I am a Louisiana resident Yes I know he started with the Chargers but he was with the Saints for longer than he was with the Chargers and has his jersey retired there too

Brady’s so goated that he literally encompasses both ends of the Jordan vs LeBron argument. People say Jordan is better cus more rings alongside his equally elite play and people say LeBron is better because of his longevity, meanwhile Brady has both the most rings of any player, AND literally every single career passing record, not to mention the record for completions and attempts in a single season as well, and even has a 99 yard pass and single game playoff pass yards as well

I will say, definitely one of my hotter takes, but I think Brees is a little overrated. Obviously a hall of famer and a top 10 QB ever, but I say top 10 and not top 5 for a reason. I see people all the time compare him to Rodgers when I don’t even see an argument for him being remotely close to Rodgers all time.

I dont know that much about either quarterback to debate about this but I would like to hear your arguments for why A-Rod is better than him

4 MVPs for ARod to 0 for Brees, on a per game basis, more TDs and less INTs, Rodgers is the all time leader in passer rating, while Brees is 7th. ARod was also a better post season performer statistically. Finally, just watching them, Brees was a very good field general to run the Sean Payton offense, but prime ARod may be the most talented QB ever. Absolutely unbelievable, only really comparable to younger Mahomes.

I did not know that Okay, moving on to Prime GOATS (not about Brees), how would you compare Prime Rodgers to Prime MaHomes and both to Prime Brady? I am curious as to what you think because it seems like you know a lot about this

in terms of just absolute peak play, I think Mahomes is #1, followed closely by Rodgers at #2, then Peyton Manning at #3, and Brady at #4. Brady is the GOAT, but greatness is separate from pure per game dominance, and I don’t think there’s much of an argument for Brady on a per game basis to be as good as those 3.

Okay but what makes Peyton Manning better in absolute peak play than Tom Brady? Bro I wanna go DEEEEEEEP (pun intended) with these discussions

2013 Manning set the all time single season passing yards record, all time single season passing TDs record, and led the highest scoring offense in NFL history lol

and in terms of how he played, just the smartest player to ever step foot on the field. Knew exactly what was happening before the ball was snapped. He was basically an offensive coordinator in a QB’s body.

Okay thats crazy and I know that Peyton could be a great coach if he ever decided to do that

He and Eli have that show and I feel like they are really moving it up there too 🥹 Like they are making it better for fans of Eli, Peyton, NYG, Colts, Broncos, and NFL fans in general. I hope they continue with it too

I lied, he technically doesn’t have every single career passing record. He doesn’t have the most interceptions.
