I won’t say it’s overpaying, but he has significant injury history and fetched that price for his on-field performance when he isn’t hurt. It reminds me a lot of Robert Hunt from Miami with Phillips being there not too long ago. Amazing player, IF the injuries stop happening. Which is possible since it’s been freak injuries/accidents
