This is a list of players that I think if their career ended right now should be hall of famers. Who am I missing?

Justin Fields is easily a HOF’er.

I think Jjettas would be like sterling sharpe. Short but elite career and while not 1st ballot he still makes it in eventually. Also, I appreciate you for knowing ball about Khalil Mack

If Mike Evans is on here then Davante should be on here

There are some guys, like Josh Allen, Fred Warner, and Saquon Barkley that really I just think are one or two more great seasons away from being locks. Guys like Micah Parsons, Jamar Chase, and Justin Jefferson, and Joe Burrow haven’t had enough time or accomplishments but are certainly on the right track

Allen and Lamar could retire today and would make it in. Not first ballot, but eventually they would.

I think Kittle is a really interesting case. Often the NFL HOF values career counting stats, and this will hurt a guy like Kittle who is more of a blocking TE playing in a run heavy offense throughout his career. This same type of stuff hurts HOF chances for nose tackles. But I personally think Kittle deserves it

I think CMC is also just a couple healthy and productive seasons away, but I’m skeptical he can stay healthy enough

Do you think Joe Thuney makes it if he retires after this year? Idk about first ballot but I’m pretty confident he’d get in

I think the difference between them is Allen had two MVPs and an extra season of elite production than Allen. By the end of their careers they will both be first ballot

Khalil mack 100%. I think if Jettas gets it’s it’s because it’s a weak class that year, but I see your point. And Jettas I think has already had a better career than Sharpe (minus the Super Bowl)

Nope. Cam Newton is a prime candidate for the hall of very good

Yeah he certainly has a case, but I feel more confident about all of these other guys

I think he needs another ring if that’s gonna happen. If he spent more of his career on a contender then he certainly would be though. Hall of fame talent, but didn’t have a hall of fame career imo

How is he wayyyy more successful? The hall of fame is an individual accomplishment, and on an individual level Lamar has certainly had the better career. Also, with very few exceptions, for the football hall of fame you need to be an ELITE player at your position for at least a few seasons, which Hurts has never been, and I don’t think he ever will be

I’m on the fence about Saquon. I just think he’s missed too many games in his career, but you can argue his case is similar to like a Terrell Davis so far. Either way, one more great season and I’ll add him
