
There are some guys, like Josh Allen, Fred Warner, and Saquon Barkley that really I just think are one or two more great seasons away from being locks. Guys like Micah Parsons, Jamar Chase, and Justin Jefferson, and Joe Burrow haven’t had enough time or accomplishments but are certainly on the right track
I think Kittle is a really interesting case. Often the NFL HOF values career counting stats, and this will hurt a guy like Kittle who is more of a blocking TE playing in a run heavy offense throughout his career. This same type of stuff hurts HOF chances for nose tackles. But I personally think Kittle deserves it
How is he wayyyy more successful? The hall of fame is an individual accomplishment, and on an individual level Lamar has certainly had the better career. Also, with very few exceptions, for the football hall of fame you need to be an ELITE player at your position for at least a few seasons, which Hurts has never been, and I don’t think he ever will be
