'do what you need to do' feels like a foreign concept to glenn at least after year one, but regardless we're probably not gonna see him face any consequences with how much players are able to get away with

Yeah but they need to. Geno tells you nothing. Either tank command with cubnik or he turns out to be fine.

klubnik was one of multiple qbs whose draft stock was high coming into their last college season but because of how everything on the team burned down it took a plummet; I think the jets value him more than just as a throwaway and don't want to risk destroying his confidence(any more than that last clemson year did) WHILE getting his coach fired just to get better roulette odds in the draft.
