Okay Mr Hustin Jerbert, if Justin Herbert is soooo much better than Jalen Hurts, than how come Justin Herbert went 5-12 and missed the playoffs with Kellen Moore, but Jalen Hurts went 14-3, won a Super Bowl, and got Kellen Moore a head coaching job

Funny because I remember when everyone said that Nick Siranni was a garbage coach

Hurts is an elite QB, Sirianni is an elite coach, and Harbaugh is overrated. His only championship came from cheating

Let’s see, Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP, 2x NFC champion, 2x pro bowler, 2nd team all pro, 2022 Bert Bell award winner, 5-2 vs “the big four” (mahomes, Allen, burrow, Jackson), 16-5 vs the AFC, 46-20 as a starter, 6-3 in the playoffs, had 920 yards and 10 touchdowns in the 2024 playoffs during the Super Bowl run

Wow it’s almost like football is a team sport and his team is very good. Hurts is a very good QB, he’s not elite, and this is coming from someone who has been a big fan of Hurts since he was in college. I wouldn’t say Herbert is elite either though. Also a very good QB, but not elite. That’s just Jackson, Allen, Mahomes, and Burrow

In order for the team to be successful you need a good QB, that’s why the eagles have done better with Hurts starting then with Minshew or Pickett. Thats why AJ Brown and Saquon Barkley became better players playing with him. And if wins don’t matter than why is Burrow elite because that’s all he got. He has never won any big nfl award

QB is to me the most important position, but a QB still doesn’t make the whole time. Not only are there other important pieces on offense, but there are two whole other aspects of the game that the QB isn’t involved in at all, not to mention coaching. Herbert not making deep runs doesn’t make him a bad qb

And I can definitely think of some mid-bad QBs that won super bowls. It’s not many, but Peyton Manning in 2015 sucked. Trent Dilfer in 2000 wasn’t so great either. Brad Johnson and Joe Namath too weren’t so great

Hurts isn’t like that, he’s very good, but winning doesn’t automatically make you elite. I would put Hurts and Herbert currently on a similar level to guys like Goff and Baker

When you’re the leader of the offense, and your offense stalls out in the second half and you can’t move the ball anymore that’s on you. And when you’re the guy throwing the ball, and you throw it to the other team FOUR times it’s also on you

Jalen Hurts did so much more than Trent Dilfer and 2015 Payton Manning. 2000 Ravens went six straight games without scoring a single offensive touchdown. 2015 Payton manning had twice the amount of picks then touchdowns

If passing yards are more important than wins I guess jameis winston was better than Patrick mahomes in 2019
