Wonder if they’d do the same thing for their boy Cal in Chicago. Doubt it

Hold the entire rest of the fanbase to that same standard. Interesting how Carolina employing a rapist stopped mattering once you were gonna play Vegas

I am not a canes fan so i don’t have all the lore but who do they employ that is a rapist because google is not giving me the details

ok looked it up it is disguising that he is even allowed to play in the AHL but he is not eligible to be called up to the NHL so the canes don’t really get a say in who that ahl team employs I think?

just a bit different then actually employing a rapist

The excuses begin. We could talk about the several other teams that employ men involved in alleged SAs or cover ups, but it’s not even worth it. Because apparently it’s only a problem when Vegas does it

Doesn’t matter that the Ducks coach covered up SA, or the Oilers GM, or the Rangers and Red Wings have kept Kane employed. But when Vegas does something? Golden team bad

Idk ur political opinions but it is objectively hilarious that some Canes (not OP) go “no means no” but voted for Donald f*cking Trump 1-3 times

Ducks and Oilers were 100% in the playoffs. This is nothing against you as a person, but I’m just saying people only hate Hart because Vegas signed him If people seriously cared about standing up to rape culture in hockey, then “no means no” chance would have followed the Oilers the last two years because of their GM. But they didn’t

The NHL needs to have a major re work but like most sports leagues it’s a man’s world and they don’t really care it’s a societal issue and putting pressure publicly is a way to get results (I am a women’s gender minor I promise you it goes way beyond just sports)

I meant in the finals sorry for clarity issues. But if we aren’t publicly critical and denouncing things we don’t agree with originations won’t bend to pressure and make changes. Rape culture in all of society needs to be cared about. I think the reason why this is so big is that 1 it’s a player 2 it’s still pretty fresh and the second they were allowed to play Vegas picked up hart. 3. the trial and news was very much out in the public sphere. not saying what others have done isn’t egregious.

I may not agree with your opinion on the outcome of the case, but I do respect that you’re willing to call out organizations that perpetuate this behavior. Way too many people are willing to chant “no means no” at Vegas, but they go silent when it’s pointed out that their team did something similar
