“but what about Foote?” the difference is that he’s not on the Hurricanes team, isn’t competing for the Stanley cup, and fans disagree with him being signed to the Wolves. Stop telling me I need to talk about Cal bc you wanna escape the convo abt Vegas

Of course when your team does it, it’s okay! People only care about Hart because it’s Vegas. The Ducks, Oilers, and Red Wings all employ people who have been accused of participating or covering up SA. Where’s the outrage for them? You can’t pick and choose when rapists playing or coaching in the NHL is okay. Pick a side and stick to it

There was outrage over it. Just bc you missed it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Try reading the post before commenting.

There was absolutely not. No one gave a fuck that Carolina signed him. No one gave a fuck that they almost signed Hart, and honestly no one would have given a fuck if they DID sign him because they’re not Vegas. That’s the only reason why people care. Stop acting like you care about victims

Yes, they did. There was even speculation that they didn’t bc season ticket holders were threatening to cancel. Stop acting like you know shit.

So you’re admitting that the primary reason they didn’t sign Hart was because of money? And bad PR? And not because the Canes organization actually cares about women and SA victims? Okay then… VGKs comment section were inundated with hate for weeks after signing Hart, many of them coming from their own fans. Bottom line is they were acquitted by a judge who knows more than either of us. Sorry you don’t like that

You’re exactly the type of person I was calling out. Pick up a dictionary and learn what speculation means. Thx. Do not lecture me about what it means to female SA victims. You doing that shows me everything I need to know.

OJ was acquitted. OJ is absolutely not innocent. Legally they aren’t guilty but that means nothing about innocence. Bye.

Speculation? So now we should be sending people to prison just for speculating that they committed a crime? It’s so good that you and people like you are not in charge of our justice system. You decide these things based on emotion and not logic.

And I said women AND SA victims. Any person can be a victim, regardless of gender. The judge actually ruled that if anyone was the aggressor here, it was EM. But you’re not ready to hear that. Acquitted does not mean innocent, that’s true. It also DEFINITELY does not mean guilty If you truly care about victims like you claim to, then put your money where your mouth is and stop excusing or supporting an organization that propped up a potential rapist. That organization is Carolina

We are talking about one specific victim… who is a woman. Judges are fully capable of being incorrect and corrupt. A non guilty verdict is only legally. I get you want to hop on his dick but you’re not gonna. The AHL isn’t only Carolina.

Love how you hop from topic to topic bc you know you’re wrong.

I could be wrong? I also could be right? I believe a judge over you or anyone else. I am not saying that the guy involved are good people or that they made smart decisions. Definitely not saying that the hold women in high regard. I’m simply saying that they did not commit a crime.

And it’s not topic hopping to point out that other teams have done similar things and don’t get backlash. Again, the Ducks and Oilers employ people who covered up SA. Where’s the signs? Where’s the “no means no” chants? Where’s literally any sort of outrage at all? There isn’t any because they’re not Vegas, so you don’t care and neither does anyone else. Just don’t be a fucking hypocrite. Call out all teams (including your own) or none

Except, they do get backlash. Vegas isn’t special. Those teams aren’t at the Stanley cup finals honey. No one is being a hypocrite because you’re not paying attention.

Where? Tell me what Ducks or Oilers playoff games this season had fans making signs or chanting “no means no”? And in case you missed it, the Oilers made the finals the last two years in a row. And somehow most NHL fans were rooting for them to beat Florida? Because I guess having bandwagon fans is worse than covering up rapes of your own players

Don’t tell me that I’m not paying attention when you’re straight up lying. You can’t even do the most basic thing I’m asking and call out your own team without making excuses for them, and you expect me to believe that the Ducks and Oilers are getting called out and I’m just missing it? Stop trying to gaslight me. Or at least get better at it before you keep trying 😂
