So many people assume I want to be androgynous because I’m non binary, but I don’t. Yes I am non binary but I’m also a woman and I like being feminine and wear feminine things but they just don’t get it.

thank you, yes, i am very pretty and feminine and cute, and in some ways i am a woman, but i am not a woman. im nonbinary. it feels like a lot of people assume im a binary trans girl, and only affirm my femininity, and it feels so weird. (even when my pronouns are they/she)

i don’t agree with saying i’m both nonbinary and a woman cause…i’m not a woman. i’m and AFAB nonbinary who looks super feminine. i’m not fr trying, but saying i’m not trying hard enough to “look masculine” or “nonbinary” because i wear a dress is an extremely wild thing tho. stay safe out here baddies

Same! I mean there are some days that I dissociate out of my body, but I’m starting to realize they’re outliers and that most days I just wanna dress a certain way, and mix it up when I feel like it

I’m afab but I have the same problem where people just completely ignore me being non-binary when I’m both non-binary and a woman! (They/she as well)

I’m AFAB so I haven’t transitioned (nor do I want to) but I’m so sorry that you lost those years!

the “not trying hard enough” thing is a transphobic talking point that somehow infiltrated queer spaces, and it’s so frustrating to hear that from people in-community x_x I don’t get how people apply it to us when they never apply it to cis/binary people
