Also note^ this is a progressive bashing on conservative mindsets for the most part but he does touch on this one distinction that trips us up when arguing with conservatives

Not always. Sex isn’t totally immutable and it’s better to assess with a healthcare team what is there and what isn’t there than to just go off of ASAB. ASAB also often ignores the complexity of care Intersex folks may need.

you are referring to basic healthcare practices right now lmfao. someone’s assigned gender at birth (their sex) does determine their expected base lines of good health. literally everyone has different health i didnt think i needed to explain that. some people share their assigned gender at birth, some people dont, sometimes it is relevant to the conversation. the lack of acknowledgement to intersex individuals is a problem in-and-of itself… but deeming biological sex that may bring these —
