always afraid to mention I’m nonbinary in (primarily cis) woman’s spaces because I don’t want to get treated like I’m invading 😭 it feels like people consider us a “third gender” & I don’t want to expose myself to that if I don’t have to
also the whole “women and nb” or “fems and thems” thing just reads as “cis women and afabs who’s gender we aren’t talking about”

Fr! When people really ask me I tell them I’m queer because that’s the label I feel fits me best. Otherwise I let them assume I’m a woman because it’s easier and I still do she/her along with they/them
