That is completely just transphobia. This is my single biggest gripe with the trans community. I love it most of the time, but the lack of belief it sometimes has in the existence of nonbinary people is so disappointing.

In what way

It’s completely disrespectful of your gender identity to imply over and over that you don’t actually know yourself and that it’s only a matter of time before you “fully commit” to transitioning to a binary gender

Ahh okay I wasn’t sure what your angle was. But yeah it’s really irritating and it’s becoming a problem cause both of them (2) keep saying stuff like “Estrogen can save you” like no ;-; I’ve been thinking about this since I was 6

Hmmm I know our culture is more accepting of Afab enbies than amab enbies, so I wonder if that is their prejudice?

How is that transphobia? I thought that meant like- hate towards trans people not from them

Yeah, it’s saying that you’re not who you say you are. It’s invalidating your trans identity. It doesn’t matter WHO is doing it-cis or trans. Trans people can be transphobic to other trans people.
