Go door to door with a resume and ask to talk to a higher up. Make it sound like you want to go into that industry with that company, everywhere you go. If they don’t answer you within a few days, go back and ask them if they had a chance to look over your application. It’s harder to say no when you’re right in front of them. A lot of older employers really like to see this initiative. I did this and got a long term job offer the first place I went to

Since I haven’t graduated college, a lot of the employers I spoke to focused on the classes I’ve taken part of my resume. Public speaking and languages were the only things the hiring managers focused on despite me thinking they would want to see my work as a sales marketing major. I think the job market feels terrible because companies don’t really need anybody at the moment, and it’s less about your skills and more making an impression of being someone who wants to stick around long term.
